VIRTUAL EVENT INTERACTIVE ILLUSTRATION
THE challenge
Create a 3d illustration for virtual event landing page
Creative Agency, Pixaura, reached out to me in order to concept and create an animated, interactive illustration for P&G’s annual event Standout Emerging Leaders Camp. This was a fun, new challenge for me because I hadn’t created interactive 3D assets for the web before. Pixaura trusted me to concept, sketch, and execute the illustration.

Concept Sketches
I worked collaboratively with the Agar and Pixaura teams to flesh out the main functions of the website and how to best represent that core functionality in visuals. Pretty early in the process, we were inspired by mimetic architecture and latched onto the idea of creating iconic objects at massive building scale. You can see some of our process sketches below as things for the illustration came into view.
Process Compilation
Creating this virtual campus was a ton of fun. I got to sketch, design, and model all of the elements you see.
It was also a fun technical challenge to create this complex scene for the web because we needed to keep the file size as small as possible. I had to highly optimize geometry and textures in order to get this file size to meet best practices.
